I have had an incredibly lucky experience over the last two days. I was able to hangout with Michael Williamson, a staff photographer for the Washington Post, while he was working on a story. Michael has won two Pulitzer Prizes during his career and has also been nominated for one this year. He is an incredible photographer and has had several books published. We spent the last two days photographing at a location he is working up a story on. Michael is one of the nicest and certainly one of the most interesting people I have met. I learned a great deal from him over the last two days. Mostly about composition and looking for shots that are different and may not be the obvious first choice. He is also a great story teller, guess that’s what makes him such a great photojournalist. He was kind enough to let me make his portrait, I hope it does him justice. Thank you Mr. Williamson, it was a pleasure to meet you and I certainly hope we cross paths again sometime.
