Sorry I have not posted in a few days, but I have been on vacation with the family. While we were at Grandma’s and Big Daddy’s house, the boys and I went to the pool. While we were there they wanted to use the little Nikon waterproof point and shoot we have. So they played with it for a few minutes and had me takes some pics of them. Then, the light patterns on the bottom of the pool caught my eye and I decided to make some images of the interesting and ever changing patterns of the light. I even had the boys pose in the water to cast shadows. It was really fun and I was able to get some very interesting images. Proof that you don’t need a big fancy camera to make cool images.

Don’t forget to vary your perspective. Instead of shooting down at the shadows, I dove to the bottom and across them. |
